Monitoring environmental humidity is an essential part of caring for reptiles & amphibians. Carefully research your pet’s preferred climate requirements, and regularly monitor humidity levels to ensure optimum health & wellbeing. The Komodo Digital Hygrometer accurately measures realtive humidity (% R.H) via the remote sensor probe positioned correctly in a terrarium. The digital display can be placed outside the terrarium for easy monitoring and viewing. A single humidity gauge or probe is best positioned near the most humid spot in the habitat. Best practice is to position a second gauge or probe at the other end of the habitat.
