The wind chime \”Terra\” is one of four coordinated, spherical sounding models from Koshi. Eight strings of different lengths are fixed with silver to the bottom of a cylindrical soundboard. The most accurate tuning creates a wind chime of pure tones, which is rich in overtones. The overtones of the shortest strings become gradually dominant and thus become basic tones and a circular tone sequence is created. The tube, made in the Koshi workshop in France from bamboo veneer, is treated with natural oil.
