The TZIGANE series was directly inspired by Ravel’s epochal Rhapso, the same name to their rich, soft, saturated sound with an overlay of sensual warmth. Fast and playable, with excellent focus and projection. The strings are offered in two tensions: medium and strong. The high tension design provides the most volume and resistance for the bow and is the ideal choice for very bright sounding violins. The E string is made from a unique carbon steel, while G, D and A are based on a multifilament nylon core. G and D are wound with precision-rolled pure silver flat wire, while the A string is wound with aluminium.
