Place the corkscrew on the neck of the bottle until the internal shoulders rest on the bottle top. Hold the base of the corkscrew firmly and start to screw with a little pressure and a clockwise half turn. As you continue to turn clockwise, the cork begins to climbs up the spiral and out of the bottle. No pulling is required. After the cork is out, remove the corkscrew from the bottle. Hold it firmly and turn the handle anti-clockwise, the “double-Helix” pushes the cork off the spiral. Clean with a damp cloth or warm soapy water.
