This special Molton 5 mm thick felt pad helps to make ironing easier and more comfortable. It also stops the mesh shape of an ironing table being impressed onto a garment when ironing. The felt does not need to be changed with every new ironing table cover, but you will notice the difference having new felt for every two or three cover changes.
