The konjac sponge – or also called devil’s tongue – is a vegan, pure natural product made from the plant fibre of the konjac root. The konjac root feels comfortable throughout the East Asian region in damp and semi-shaded locations. In Japan, it has been part of body care for more than 1,500 years. It is suitable as a massage and exfoliating sponge for all skin types (where sensitive types should work with softer pressure). It is particularly popular as a skin care sponge for make-up removal or as a gentle massage sponge for the whole body. Naturally, the konjac sponge is rich in moisture and provides deep pore and soothing cleansing of the skin. A lovely gift that is sure to surprise you.
Directions for use: Dip the sponge in lukewarm water and squeeze gently. If it has become hard, leave in a water bath for about 5-10 minutes (when it dries out, it becomes hard like a pumice stone). Gently massage the skin with circular movements or remove makeup residue. Print the sponge with your palms after use, do not wring out. Hang on the loop to dry if possible. Service life: approx. 2-3 months with daily use. For hygienic reasons, the sponge should be boiled several times during use.
