The 2.5cm solar cell on the back of the Lifemax Solar Window Thermometer gathers solar energy to display the information on the large 4cm LCD screen. There are 2 soft touch buttons underneath the solar cell which turn on the item and change the display from Celsius to Fahrenheit. The easy to read screen displays the current temperature above the daily maximum and minimum temperature recorded for that day. There is also an simple arrow indictor to show if it has increased or decreased from the previous temperature recorded. This updates every 8 seconds to ensure the most accurate reading.
