Have two people come in (one child and one parent for example). Offer them to test their ability to be a magician. Explain that in magic there is a routine very commonly known as Chinese rings which consists of enclaving metal rings between them. Only the magician is able to cross the material to connect the two rings. Give a triangle of colored paper folded to each of your guests. Have them do exactly as you do. Cut out the paper by following the pre-cut dots, and the spectators do the same. Gently unfold the whole and … the parent finds himself with two separate rings (he is unfit for magic), you, your rings are bound but not enclosed (you have missed), and the child , it has two rings perfectly enclosed! It’s a miracle, everyone applauds it! You will obviously be able to use other scenarios. For example you succeed and the spectators do not. Very easy to make
