Instructions for use:
Easy Active Baby Bottle Before first use. • Disassemble and clean the product before first use. Then place individual parts in boiling water for 5 minutes. This is to ensure hygiene. More information on cleaning can be found in the corresponding section. • When used for the first time, but even after prolonged use, the ventilation hole (in the raised bubble at the bottom of the teat) can stick together. This means that no air can enter the bottle when feeding and the teat contracts. Carefully use your thumb or finger over the bladder (ventilation) several times to open the slit again.
Cleaning. • Disassemble the product into all parts before each use and clean it in warm soapy water. For hygiene reasons, rinse well with clean water before sterilising. Do not use cleaning products with harmful ingredients such as alcohol, chlorine and/or microplastics. Do not leave parts in a cleaning solution for longer than recommended – this could affect the function of the product. • Before each use, check all parts of the bottle and pull the teat in all directions. Replace product at the first sign of damage or wear. • For optimal cleaning, the water bottle must be disassembled into all individual parts. Cleaning when assembled can damage the bottle. • Suitable for cleaning in the top shelf of the dishwasher (at max. 65°C). Items can be discoloured by food. This will not affect the material in any way. • Do not use abrasive cleaners. Use only soft brushes or soft sponges. Hard cleaning brushes can scratch the plastic. • Make sure that there are no leftovers in the parts of the bottle after cleaning and before sterilising.
Sterilising. • For optimal cleaning/sterilisation the water bottle must be disassembled into all individual parts. • Clean all parts of the bottle before sterilising. • After cleaning can be sterilised as follows: steam sterilisation (electric or microwave, depending on the manufacturer’s instructions), sterilise in boiling water (at least 5 minutes) or in a sterilisation solution. • Do not leave parts (including the teat) in the sterilisation solution for longer than recommended or expose to direct sun or heat – this could affect the function of the product or the teat. • Never sterilise the bottle when assembled. This can damage the bottle and warp the threads with which the bottle is screwed together.
Instructions for heating: • Heat the bottle using one of the following methods: in a bottle warmer, a container of heated water or under running hot water. • Never pour boiling water into the bottle. • Never heat or cool a sealed bottle. Remove the protective cap and teat (with the screw ring) before heating, especially when heating in a bottle warmer or microwave. Do not overheat as this may damage the bottle. • Never place the bottle in an oven. • Take special care when heating in the microwave. Overheating may occur. Do not place the bottle in the centre of the turntable as this can lead to uneven heat distribution. • After heating the bottle, always stir carefully to distribute the heat evenly. • When preparing infant food, please always consider the temperature specifications of the food producers. • Boil drinking water and cut to approx. 40 – 50 °C (depending on the information of the food producer). Only then fill the boiled water into the bottle and fill the recommended milk powder quantity and mix. • It is recommended to stir the food instead of shaking. This allows you to avoid air bubbles that can lead to colic. • At drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C). • Always check the temperature before feeding
Other important information. • The bottle is made of polypropylene, a hygienic, easy to clean and relatively soft material. The bottle should not be pressed too much as this may affect the function. • Do not try to enlarge the opening of the suction cup with a needle or sharp objects. • Do not let babies drink unattended. • Always keep the bottle dry • Store the suction cup and valves in a dry, sealed container. • To freeze breast milk, please use the MAM storage cups. • Only use MAM teats with the MAM bottles. • Use only sugar-free food or liquids. • To avoid injury, do not let baby run around with the bottle. • Never put the baby to sleep with the bottle. Prolonged contact with liquids can cause tooth decay. • The bottle teats are compatible with all MAM wide-neck bottles and the MAM Trainer+. • Insert the teat into the screw ring of the bottle until it audibly “clicks” • Please retain the instructions well.
