The standard 3-Way Head is an evolution which streamlines Manfrotto range of three-way heads by incorporating improved elements while maintaining all the features you loved. It is equipped to balance heavier, off-centre loads through its spring feature. There are two balance springs in the vertical tilt (forward/backward) and horizontal tilt (left/right) movements to give independent yet precise control through all three axes. These springs enable you to comfortably handle heavier camera loads (such as very long lenses) with minimum effort. Both springs can be turned off in case normal head operation is required.
The head is constructed from aluminium and designed to support up to 12 kg in order to work with the heavy gear combinations. However, it is designed to remain lightweight and compact enough to pack in any camera kit. The standard quick release system is used to accommodate larger camera platforms and the head also incorporates dual axis bubble levels to help achieve level shots every time.
