The light barrier also secures your garage door. It constantly monitors the driveway and gate area and stops the drive immediately when an object is in the way and thus interrupts the beam of light. With a depth of only 19 mm, it can be easily and quickly mounted directly in the door frame of sectional doors – so it is well protected from damage to the traction. Alternatively, it can be fixed to the wall with the help of screws and dowels. Special safety highlight: a pollution indicator realised by LED, which makes a reliable function check possible and gives appropriate signals when the light beam is not fully transmitted. The light barrier is connected with only two wires. In addition, it receives power and communicates with the drive. It works exclusively with Marantec drives, so we ensure that it is tested for functionality before every goal ride. Special 630 has a range of up to 8 metres, which is sufficient for standard garage doors.
