Maun 4860-125 Flat Nose Parallel Plier 125 mm | Secure Even Grip Along Length of Serrated Parallel Jaws | V-Slot and Open Throat to Hold Wire and Rod | Professional Quality

$81.99

  • HOLD SECURELY – The jaws are serrated and always move in parallel. For a firm, even grip anywhere along the jaw length. Hold square and hexagonal fastenings, just like in a vice.
  • GRIP OR REPAIR WIRE – A V-slot runs along the length of one of the jaws. There is an open throat too. Feed wire or rod through the throat and close the jaws to hold it securely. Use the parallel jaws to manipulate, straighten or remove kinks in damaged wire.
  • BUILT TO LAST – Made in England, this tool has blackened steel jaws, case hardened to HRC 57. Pressed steel handles have a rust-proof finish and detailing for added grip.
  • TOOLBOX ESSENTIAL – This truly is a multipurpose tool, used by technicians, electricians, maintenance engineers and operatives. In the field and in manufacturing. A staple for serious DIY-ers and hobbyists too.

Parallel Pliers
A parallel plier differs hugely from a standard, scissor-action plier. Its compound box joint means its jaws always remain parallel as the tool is opened and closed. When closed, even pressure is applied along the whole length of the jaws, allowing items to be gripped and held securely at any point. An additional feature of the parallel plier is its open throat. This permits wire or rod to be fed through the throat and held securely or manipulated between the jaws.
Maun 4860-125 Flat Nose Parallel Plier 125 mm
The Flat Nose Parallel Plier is Maun’s original problem solver. This tool, the 4860-125, is the smallest in our range, suitable for a small hand or more intricate work.
Its key distinguishing features are serrated jaws for a firm grip, a V-slot running along the length of one jaw for holding wire and rod, and classic steel handles with detailing for added grip, often preferred by professional users.
The plier is 125 mm long and has a 10 mm jaw opening and 6.4 mm jaw width. The useable jaw length is 30 mm.
Built To Last
Like all Maun tools, this plier is built to last. It is constructed with blackened steel serrated jaws that are case hardened to HRC 57 for durability. To protect against rust, its handles are zinc plated. The plier conforms to rigorous British and international standards (BS 3087-7:1996, ISO 5747:1995). It is manufactured in our factory in Nottinghamshire, England by our team of plier-making experts.
