The Olive Cutter Screw Type Tool 22 mm is designed for removing 22 mm copper or brass olives from copper pipes. The tool comprises two precision-set steel cutting edges that are driven by a screw mechanism. The pipe is threaded through the hole in the tool, and the olive centred. The T-bar is screwed progressively closed to force the blades up, cutting the olive free from the pipe.

The design is a deliberate effort to create a tool that works where there is insufficient space to use a plier-type cutter – so no need to resort to a hacksaw or olive puller. How To Use Unscrew the compression fitting from the pipe, exposing the olive. Position the tool over the centre of the olive. Screw the T-bar firmly closed until you hear the olive “pop”. Unscrew the T-bar and reposition the tool away from the pipe. Remove the split olive, leaving the pipe unmarked.
