This 22 inch x 2 3/4 inch Sea Drum features both a True Feel Synthetic Head and a Transparent Head which seals little steel balls between the heads to produce a soothing sound. A sealable filling port allows you to choose the amount of steel balls inside the drum affecting the sound of the drum.
The MEINL Sea Drums create the soothing sounds of the surf, with a great new feature: we sealed the little steel balls between two drum heads, one synthetic and the other natural goatskin. This means you can choose between two completely different timbres within the same drum. A sealable filling port allows you to control the amount of steel balls inside.
