Metabo Angle Grinders are all run off of their in-house marathon motor which has patented dust protection for a longer service life. It also boasts the best anti-vibration system on the market, with an integrated autobalancer for up to 50% less hand-arm vibrations. The electronic safety shutdown reduces kickback if the disk halts unexpectedly. Some other features include LED signals that indicate triggered restart protection or overheating, a side handle that can be mounted in three different positions, rotating main handle for safety and better handling when cutting and a safety switch that prevents unintentional starts. The motor is consistently protected with auto stop carbon brushes.
