Ultimax – Performance through Innovation
With a combination of advanced design and innovative technology, Ultimax continues the tradition of Mirka by offering its customers products that achieve maximum performance and efficiency while reducing costs for the user.
The secret lies in a groundbreaking new patented manufacturing process called Selective Coating™ technology. Several small optimized cavities in the sandpaper effectively reduce clogging of the abrasive material. This innovative technology, combined with special abrasive grains, significantly reduces material wear per application and extends the product’s lifespan.
Furthermore, Ultimax achieves higher performance per abrasive grain compared to conventional products. This is thanks to the Selective Coating™ technology, which generates higher specific grinding pressure, resulting in very high aggressiveness while producing less heat (cool grinding).
Ultimax is particularly suitable for sanding surfaces made of hard woods such as oak or birch, as well as veneers, softwoods, mineral materials, hard old paints, and putty.
