What is Tyvek Paper?
Not cellulose paper. It is stronger and waterproof. Not synthetic paper either. It can be drilled and bent more accurately and withstands the most demanding environmental conditions. It is extremely durable and its prints remain intact even when submerged in salt water. Its weight-to-strength ratio is far superior to any paper, synthetic paper or cardstock. It is not a fabric, but can be used as such.
Tyvek paper wristbands 19 mm paper is the “hard type” of Tyvek (hard type), since in the manufacturing process a flat thermo-soldering is done instead of the hot-soldering dots, which is performed to produce fabric type Tyvek (soft type). All types of Tyvek Paper have crown treatment on both sides and anti-static treatment.
