The MUT valves are consisting of a cast iron body and an internal rotor. The angle of rotation of the rotor is of approximately 90 °. The mixing, with linear characteristic of the inlet water and that of return, is provided by the contoured profile of the compass. This mixing is done by means of a circular sector rotor in the model VDM and VDF, while this is butterfly in the model VM and VF.
