Nanoxia Deep Silence 8 – Basic USB 3.0

With the Deep Silence 8 – Basic USB 3.0, Nanoxia remains true to its clear and simple line of the Deep Silence series. The new model has no more two-part front door, which emphasises the simplicity even more. Both the side panels and the front door are effectively insulated. Behind the door there is an effective dust filter (when used with the door open) also an external 5.25 inch bay, so that – if necessary, an optical drive or other devices that require a 5.25 inch bay can be installed. With a width of 232 mm, CPU coolers up to a height of 180 mm can be integrated into the system. The length of the graphics card may be 450 mm at a depth of the housing of 475 mm, and there is no additional HDD drawers. The Deep Silence 8 Basic 3.0 offers a modular HDD cage that can hold two HDD’s or SSDs, as well as two places for 3.5″ or 2.5″ hard drives under the power supply cover. Two additional 2.5 inch drives can be installed on the back of the motherboard tray. The Deep Silence 8 Basic 3.0 offers two USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0 slots in the I/O console. In addition to the ports for headphones and microphone, there is also a reset button on the top of the case. The two pre-installed 140 mm fans in the front and one in the rear ensure sufficient ventilation of the system. As with the other models of the Deep Silence series, this is done via the side “intakes” in the front. In addition to 8 “normal” PCI-E slots, two vertically arranged slots are also available. A device for installing graphics cards in the vertical position is also pre-installed in the case. The quietly tuned housing has achieved the best result in both internal and external silent tests.
