When he was 20, Dante Nesti started making soap at home in a small 50 litre cauldron. Just three years later in 1945, he founded his soapmaking company based in Florence.Today Nesti Dante managed by his son, Roberto is one of the few industrial scale companies in the world, which still produces soap with the traditional craftsmen’s methods. It strictly follows the traditional process of boiling the soap paste in large cauldrons for several days under the constant supervision of master soapmakers and perfumers, who monitor the various phases of the saponification production. Special attention is paid to the tiniest details and only carefully selected top quality raw materials that are free of synthetic surfactants are used to produce richer and more softening soaps. Completely natural, 100% biodegradable with no animal testing.
