Ngwenya Glass is a Fairtrade factory in Swaziland with an amazing history starting around 1980 but failed but in 1987 bought the derelict factory. What makes the Ngwenya Glass factory special is the fact that all items are handmade from 100% recycled glass. The factory is Fair Trade and on top of that works with recycled resources including used KYF cooking oil to fuel the furness and rainwater used in the factory. The factory donates a percentage of worldwide sales to a Rhino & Elephant Fund in Swaziland and then still finds time and resource to support local schools and the community as a whole.
