This QR VersaFrame Half Cage is a height adjustable cage designed for middle Canon and Nikon DSLR cameras like Canon 5D, 5DmkII, 5DmkIII, 5DmkIV, 6D, 6DmkII, 7DmkII, 6D, 7D, 80D, 700D, Nikon D750, D800, D810, D850, D80, D610, D500, D7000 Panasonic G9 GH5s GH5 Sony A7RIII A7M3 A9.
It features a built-in Manfrotto QR plate, which allows to quick attach and detach cameras in 3 seconds for different shooting modes. With a hotshoe pinch on the top, cameras will be firmly fixed into one solid piece with the cage.
It is equipped with many mounting points (1/4-20 holes, 3/8-16 holes and a cold shoe) for accessories, like top handles, rod risers, magic arms, mic mounts and so on. You can attach Wooden Hand Grip for more comfortable shooting.

- There are two cold shoe mounts for you to mount microphone or monitor. You could transfer your shooting model by attaching NATO handle to the built-in NATO rail on the top plate. There are also many 1/4 and 3/8 threaded holes on the top plate for you to attach other accessories. We also offer you a cold shoe positioning knob, you could mount it on the cold shoe mount of your camera to make your DSLR camera on cage more stable.
- The length of the cheese rod is 6.22 inch/ 158mm, you could adjust the distance between the top plate and Manfrotto style quick release baseplate to fit different size of DSLR camera by wing nuts. There are also 1/4 and 3/8 threaded holes for you to attach other accessories or NICEYRIG left wooden handgrip with manufactured screws (if you need them, please contact us before you placing an order).
- Compatible with Manfrotto 577, 501, 504, 701, the QR plate could replace your Manfrotto QR plate and be mounted on tripod directly. Transferring your handheld shooting to tripod shooting quickly. There are anti-skid pads to protect your DSLR camera. There is anti-off button on the quick release base, preventing QR plate from removal accidental. The wingnut has the ability to change the position of the knob to tighten or unscrew the QR plate quickly.
- The cage could also be mounted on 15mm shoulder pad with two 1/4 screw. Transferring your tripod shooting to shoulder-shoulder shooting. Could also serves as a very important part of 15mm rail support system for desktop rail shooting. Made of aluminum alloy, lightweight and durable.
