Obstacle Detector, IR Approximation Sensor for Optical Collision Prevention with Digital Output for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Line Follower Applications

$19.99

  • DIGITAL OUTPUT – The IR Sensor Board is equipped with a digital output pin that triggers whenever a set threshold is undershot. The output signal (HIGH, LOW) can easily be checked using any GPIO of your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
  • ADJUSTABLE DETECTION THRESHOLD – Use the on-board potentiometer to set the threshold for triggering the digital output. The obstacle detection can be adjusted to set off at a distance of 0 cm to 25 cm.
  • EASY & FAST TO SET UP – The Distance Detector can easily be connected to your microcontroller board. It’s fully assembled so you don’t have to solder anything. Just use some jumper cables to connect it or put it on a breadboard for fast prototyping.
  • 3.3V & 5V SUPPORT – The Sensor Breakout Board has been designed for an operating voltage of 3 V – 5 V so you can easily connect it to 32-bit microcontroller boards like the Arduino MKR1000 and Raspberry Pi as well as to classic boards like Uno R3.
  • COMPACT DESIGN & POWER EFFICIENT – The Obstacle Detection Module is made with mobile applications in mind where size and power consumption is critical. Its dimensions are ca. 48 mm x 14 mm x 8 mm incl. header and diodes. The current consumption is only 4 mA at 5 V.
