Pair of Down Royal Racecourse Commemorative Coins 2019 United Kingdom Sports Venue Series I am delighted to be able to offer this superb pair of rare coins – part of a set Commemorating some of the UKs most iconic Sporting Venues. These are part of the 2019 UK Sports series which comprises of five different designs – available exclusively and only in limited quantities. Each coin depicts a different UK Sporting Venue and has a map of the British Isles to the reverse detailing the locations of each. These high quality, solid metal coins feature intricate detailing throughout with fully embossed designs to both sides. My photos really do not do the items justice – they are beautiful shiny coins without any marks or imperfections. Any marks are caused by the photography lighting, reflections etc – mint condition. The lettering on the map is very clear but unfortunately my camera would not zoom in enough to show this. Finished in .999 fine silver and 24ct Gold. These coins are the exact shape, style and weight of a UK 50p. They will sit perfectly with all the other rare collectable 50p coins such as kew gardens etc and will form a great part of a collection and look brilliant in an album. The last picture is for comparison and shows a coin next to a standard circulated 50p coin. These are rare items and are only available in limited quantities. Brand new coins for 2019 with only a scare few being available throughout the UK. These items are not legal tender and are sold purely as commemoratives.
