Produced in 1993, ‘Pale Sun Crescent Moon’ is possibly their best work as far as their studio albums go. Margo Timmins is at her best on this album, the band is totally in sink and has a sense of togetherness which makes this album an effortless and easy listen. Each track grabs you and makes you listen to Timmins, tracks like ‘Crescent Moon’, ‘Ring On The Sill’ and ‘Floorboard Blues’ stand out. ‘Pale Sun Crescent Moon’ has it all; Wah Wah, sneering, heavy bluesy guitar – full, rhythmic bass – clear recorded drums compliment Timmins’ vocals. You will want to put this album on repeat!
