Tyrannosaurus lived about 70 million years ago and is one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs. His name means “King of reptilian tyrants”. With a gigantic body nearly 12 m long and teeth up to 20 cm, this biped with tiny arms could exceed 6 meters high and weigh more than 6 tons.
