These easy to use anti-scale filtration cartridges simply pop into the body of the steam generator and filter out 99% of limescale in the water.
The cartridges last for up to 3 months, depending on the hardness of your water and amount of ironing you do. You will know when it needs to be replaced, as there is a built in indicator that will flash to alert you that your cartridge needs to be replaced. To prevent you from getting limescale residue on your clothes, once the indicator is activated your iron will switch off. To continue using your appliance in the best conditions, you can either use demineralized water while keeping the old cartridge inside, or replace it by a new Pure Steam Anti-scale cartridge.
