The slim subwoofers have a Phoeniroll surround that allows an exact linear range of motion within the 22 mm of peak to peak deflection. Furthermore, the MX subs have a lightweight but ribbed fibreglass reinforced cone, combined with an oversized advanced engine structure. This consists of a high temperature torriform voice coil made of pure OFC copper in combination with KlaraForm Vented Kapton former. The equipment is rounded off by a progressive rolled spider with robust, woven connection wires.
