The famous French General and Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte was born in Corsica in 1769. Thanks to his military talent, he is quickly ranked in the army during the French Revolution and finally reached power by a coup. In 1804, he was crowned Emperor at a ceremony at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. During his reign, Napoleon initiated numerous reforms that still shape the admnisrative structures of France. After the campaign against Russia, Napoleon’s power decreased and he was exiled to Saint Helena, where he died in 1821. Napoleon enters the world of Playmobil to inspire history lovers and imagination of children and older children. The Napoleon Playmobil figure is inspired by Franois Pascal Simon Gérard (1770-1837), and depicts the Emperor mounted on his faithful horse, Vizir.
