These strips of plastic spikes are a cost-effective, humane way to keep cats and other intruders out of your garden. They come in a range of different colours, and in a transparent option, so that you can find the perfect strip to blend in with your garden.
These strips are humane and effective. Made from weather resistant polypropylene, the strips are easily attached to the top of the fence or brick wall with glue, nails or screws (see instructions below). They can also be used on tree branches or sheds. They come in a range of different colours, and now come in a clear strip also. The clear strip is discreet and blends in well with various environments. Place on your garden wall, shed, or tree branches – wherever you require an effective yet unobtrusive intruder deterrent. Not just effective in deterring cats – these strips have been featured on BBC’s “Beat the Burglar”.
The strips are hinged to allow better fit to curved surfaces. Trim to size using a suitable saw. Curves and bends can be formed by immersing in very hot water. The wall spikes can also be easily cut (using scissors or a knife) to a double or single row strip using the hinge grooves as a guide. Put two strips side-by-side to get more width, or cut down lengthways for more narrow fence-tops.
Please note that many glues and adhesives will not adhere to clear strip – screwing or nailing is recommended.
