Polythene dust sheets are a lighter and more cost-effective alternative to cotton dust sheets, but unlike cotton sheets they are waterproof, giving protection not just against dust and dirt but also against drips, splashes and spills of paint, wallpaper paste and other liquids. ProDec polythene dust sheets are made from LDPE material so, unlike cotton sheets, they can be recycled. This product is made from 15 micron grade which is more durable than standard polythene dust sheet rolls which tend to be 10 micron or even less, so it has greater tear resistance which is particularly ideal if it’s in situ for an extended period. This is a handy roll format so you’re not stuck with a fixed sheet size and can cut it to the required size for the job at hand, which also minimises waste. This product is suitable for interior use only.
This roll is 50m x 2m (164′ x 6’6″ approx.) size, giving 100 sqm (1,075 sq ft approx.) of protection and is suitable for covering floors when painting walls, as well as being the ideal width for stairs or corridors.
