The ROTOR ALDHU crank system is a completely new concept for road cranks. However, the ALDHU has been extremely trimmed to a lower weight and with its only 182 grams of light crank arms (at 170 mm length and a system weight with one-piece chainrings 50/34 of less than 600 g), offers the exceptionally high stiffness of the top class. Similar crank systems from other premium manufacturers are far above the system price of the ROTOR ALDHU. Without expertise and special tools, the assembly is done in minutes and is just as easy as changing the chain rings. Thanks to the direct mount system, where the blades are mounted directly on the shaft without a spider, a standard Allen key is sufficient as a tool. Choose from the revolutionary combi chainring in a one-piece design (from a block of milled chainring combination) and single chainrings. Both in round version or with the oval Q rings from ROTOR with 12. 5% ovality. Alternatively, a Direct Mount Spider can also be used, which allows the traditional assembly of two chainrings with chainring screws and extends the spectrum again. The direct mount system of the ROTOR ALDHU allows for the first time the fine adjustment of oval chainrings (OCP) in one-degree steps and thus an incomparable individualisation to personal requirements. This allows the driver to get the best possible approach to the best possible step efficiency. The ALDHU crank arms made of the high-strength and very light 7075 aluminium alloy are reworked/hollow drilled with the ROTOR patented Trinity Drilling System and offer a perfect ratio of stiffness to weight. ROTOR ALDHU is perfect for road cyclists with the desire for a very light crank system without complications, with low maintenance and assembly effort and the possibility to improve pedal efficiency. She shares the desire for individuality with crank systems of the very expensive premium lightweight construction class, but is affordable. The ALDHU is of course compatible with other road bike groups from Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo and offers future-proof technology thanks to Direct Mount.
