With this model you can cut cuticles as well as your fingernails. This is possible because the tip is slightly thinner than that of pure nail scissors, but not as delicate as that of cuticle scissors. Make sure that your nails and skin are softened (this is already the case after a shower or bath!). Cut the fingernails to the desired length. No corners should stick out on the sides, as they could grow into the cuticles. You can still remove the cuticles if necessary. With the tips of the scissors it is possible to remove the deposits under the nail and in the nail bed. We recommend filing the nail with a diamond or glass file after cutting, so that the edges are smooth and sealed. With a cuticle pusher you can push back the protruding cuticle. Toenails should not be cut with these scissors, as they are generally too thick. You can always send us your scissors for regrinding. Another quality feature is the real screw that holds the two halves of the scissors together. With this screw the tension of the scissors can be adjusted. Thus, when the scissors become loose, they can be tightened again and made fully operational. As the tip of the nail and cuticle scissors is delicate and sensitive, they should always be protected (protective cover, protective cap, etc.). For this purpose, we recommend putting a drop of machine oil into the scissor joints every now and then. This keeps them supple and the scissors can always be opened and closed easily.
