A short message (“Cleaning takes 5 minutes”) is followed by a left / right sound check and a musical selection (that demos your system’s bass response). - Advanced technology Using advanced mirror Microfiber brushes, it can efficiently remove dirt and extend the life of the player. This will do the trick without scratching the optics. Audio CD playback starts at the center; spinning at 500 rpm and slows to 200 RPM at the outer edge. So in just a minute each of the brushes will pass the lens ~260 times, or ~600 little brushes. That’s all it took.
