If only using this with a single camera (reversing cameras) then ideally it should be wired to the reversing light signal to come on at the same time as the rear camera to save having the monitor on all the time or to have to manually switch it on. It has a trigger wire for the reverse feed when using both inputs. It will show either 1 or other input at a time, not both together. Uses standard RCA/Phono inputs so its compatible with the Dolphin Automotive range of car and van reversing cameras as well as most others. Comes with adhesive base which the monitor screws onto. Base can also be screwed to the dashboard if desired.
