According to the regulation, the detectors should be tested every week to ensure the detectors are working properly. By installing the remote controller on the wall, you can easily test the smoke alarm by simply one pressing the “TEST” button on the remote controller. The silence function is available only when the detector is triggered. Do not press the “Hush” button during testing, the detectors will be automatically silenced after 8-15 seconds. If one of the detectors is triggered, all the detectors in the group will sound. Pressing the “Hush” button, all the detectors will be silenced, except the detector that detected the real fire. So you can easily spot which floor or area has triggered.
