It is not always necessary to the complete fitting due to a defect. Steady dripping e.g. can already often be fixed by the cartridge. In most cases, only the red/blue lever plug needs to be removed, loosen the underneath and remove the lever.
Water and energy consumption can also be reduced by choosing the appropriate cartridge. You have the option to choose between the basic, medium or premium version: Basic: no adjustment possible. Medium > Water saving function > The water flow rate can be reduced by up to 25%. Premium > Water saving function and temperature limitation > The water flow rate can be up to 25%, the maximum temperature can be reduced up to 50%
