1. Clean the shaft, don’t leave any solvent or water on the it. Otherwise it may affect the stickiness of the tape to the shaft.
2. Leave at least 1/2″ extra length over the shaft end and twist it. Otherwise the tape may be pushed and stick together during the regripping.
