material
Kite lines from SATISFLY are made of the patented special material SK99 from Dyneema. SK99 belongs to the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylenes (UHMWPE), has a Kevlar-like molecular structure and with more than 380 Deka-Newton ~ 380kg is more tear-resistant than steel. SK99, which is also used by CORE for line production, has a 20% higher breaking load than SK78 used by most kite brands. SK99 also features even less stretch under load, which gives an immediate feel for the kite and a much more direct steering response of the kite.
Safety
Especially the lines are exposed to high forces and loads during kitesurfing. Therefore, they should be replaced in time if they are worn out.
