Due to the high percentage of herbal ingredients, this granulated food is particularly well suited for mainly herbivorous cichlids (e.g. cichlids from lakes Malawi and Tanganyika). The food contains over 7% easily digestible wheat germ as well as Spirulina algae for enhancing the splendid natural coloration. When combined with granured, granugreen makes a balanced diet for omnivorous species (those who eat both herbal and animal food). Newly imported fish readily accept the food. It retains its shape and thus remains attractive also after sinking down.
