Hollowtech technology enables extremely light, hollow crank arms manufactured using Shimano’s exclusive forging technology for maximum rigidity. The brand-new mid-range group offers countless of the performance features that already distinguish its “big sister”, the Deore XT, and combines them with an excellent price-performance ratio, extreme robustness and comprehensive versatility. The result is mountain bike components that provide the right setup for almost every biker. The teeth of the light and robust FC-M7000-11 single chainrings are equipped with Shimano’s new Dynamic Chain Engagement (DCE) technology and ensure optimum chain guidance – both in terms of guidance during crank rotation and chain retention on the chainring in rough terrain. In addition, the glass fibre composite design of the chainrings takes into account the forces and loads that occur in each case and thus guarantees a long service life.
