The shoulder sling is a device that serves to contain and stabilize the scapula-humeral joint. Comfortable to wear and easy to install. - INDICATIONS: Shoulder subluxations. Mild shoulder injuries in which shoulder immobilization and forearm support is necessary.
- INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Choosing the right size is a fundamental aspect to obtain the therapeutic efficacy of the product and to guarantee its shelf life. Once the corresponding adjustments have been made, preserve them for the life of the product. We open the padded bag. We will position the patient’s forearm inside the bag in such a way that the patient places the elbow in the closed part of the orthosis and the hand in the open part.
- We close the bag with the velcro regulating the adjustment to the limb. The Velcro tape that has the link will be placed in the area closer to the wrist. Pass the suspension band over the opposite shoulder to the side we treat and pass the webbing through the link. Adjust the height or bending that is necessary for the elbow and fix with Velcro. In any doubt or problem, the review or supervision of a healthcare professional or orthopedic technician is recommended.
- WASHING AND PRESERVATION RECOMMENDATIONS: To wash stick the Velcro together. Hand wash with neutral soap is recommended at approximately 300C. It allows dry cleaning, with caution, with perchloroethylene. Do not use bleach or abrasive products.
- Drain the device well and help remove moisture with a dry towel. Leave to dry at room temperature. Do not use for drying direct heat sources (radiator, dryer, sun…). No dryer allowed. Do not iron.
