Sika MultiSeal BT is a self-adhesive sealing tape, consisting of a butyl tape coated with a reinforced aluminum foil. It is used for repair, protection and sealing of roofs, including metal panels; facades; broken tiles; leak gutters; chimneys and skylights; caravans and trailers; yard containers and various types of pipelines. Technical information: Thickness: ~1 mm. Substrate temperature / stand: +5°C min. / +40°C max. Application method: Cut the tape to the desired length, remove the protective sheet and stick the tape firmly onto the surface by compressing it with a special roller. In the case of joining several tapes we recommend an overlap of at least 5 cm. It is possible to improve adhesion to the substrate by heating the tape and the substrate itself with a jet of hot air.
