The slide is made with recycled and sustainably sourced filament. We only use recycled cardboard in our packaging and everything we send to you is recyclable. HOW TO USE THE SLIDE: Slot the two pieces together so they form a v shape. Place on a level surface, velour side up. Slide your coin or small bar down the slide, making sure it can run freely. The speed of travel tells you whether the coin is diamagnetic or not. Coins that travel slowly down the slide have diamagnetic properties. Silver, copper and bismuth are some metals that are known to have these properties. HOWEVER silver and copper have very different atomic weights so silver-plated copper could not have the same weight, diameter and thickness as a genuine coin. So always use a second testing method in conjunction with this slide. We suggest that you run silver and non-silver and even fake coins down your slide to get used to it. This is fun to do and will enable you to detect fakes quickly and easily in the future.
This product uses powerful neodymium magnets. Keep out of reach of children. Magnets can be fatal if swallowed. It is recommended that people wearing a pacemaker or other electronic medical device do not use products containing neodymium magnets. Keep at least 20cm away from electrical items, mechanical watches, mobile phones, bank cards as the strong magnets can wipe information over time.
