We have our own production in the Karelia Republic. We buy our raw stones in the best resource of the Republic of Karelia – Sazhoginskij (Zazhoginsky). There are three types of shungite: type 1 – regular shungite 35-45% – carbon content. All pyramids, balls, cubes, beads are made from this type of shungite. Shungite is a soft stone and can leave black marks, this characteristic confirms the authenticity of the stone. Type 2 – Petrovsky Shungite It contains 65% – 75% carbon. It is used to clean water and jewellery. But this stone is more expensive and also fragile. Type 3 – Precious Shungite is a very fragile stone crystal with the carbon content of 95% to 98%. Be careful! Precious shungite is impossible to work with. The structure is so fragile that the beads, pyramids and other products cannot be made. You can only buy pendants or raw stones.
