The entire bandage consists of a 2.4 inches foam padding wrapped with Velcro compatible high quality neoprene material to provide the most comfortable support. Suitable for use for fractures and dislocations that stem from sports and athletic injuries such as weightlifting injuries, and for use after delicate surgical operations.

The compression wrap that braces and protects the shoulders has a length of 55.1 inches, as long as the combined width of the chest and shoulders fits within 55.1 inches the Velpeau bandage will fit the person carrying it.
