Once forward, once back… and once back: If the signals have to travel in both directions, you should use a digital cable with a back-control line. This cable also has a characteristic impedance of 110 Ohms, two of the four conductors are designed for the back-control function. With its high resistance sheath it can be used for fixed and outdoor installations. Due to its double shielding (AL/PT foil + copper braid) and colour-coded this cable complies with current general electrotechnical regulations VDE 0812/ VDE 0207. Transmission rate 256 Kbs according to EIA 485 standard.
