The Source Tactical Hydration System consists of a lightweight backpack with flat and packable shoulder straps with chest strap, four clips for attachment to MOLLE loops, a WXP 2 L hydration bladder with storm valve and tube. The WXP Hydration Bladder has a convenient Widepac slider for easy access plus a large twist lock. The hydration system is practically self-cleaning thanks to the source glass-like film. The surface of the Source Hydration Systems is 2000% smoother than a conventional PU film. This makes the surface almost as smooth as glass. The smooth surface prevents bacteria from settling and biofilm can form. The co-extruded PE film surrounds the liquid to be dissipated to it without plastic taste. In addition, it is free of BPA and phthalates. Thanks to the Grunge-Guard technology, the surface of the hydration bladder inhibits the growth of bacteria efficiently, effectively and throughout the life. The technology is based on materials – so-called “ agents” – with FDA approval and EPA registration.
