They differ in the edge diameter, thread depth bolts and slope. Easier, if you have a 1/2 inch internal thread (or for outside just external thread), this can be a 1/2 inch shower hose, or a nipple (small thread) with 1/2 AG, then try to turn the 1/2 inch in the thread of the tap spout, if that folds, then it is 1/2 inch, if the thread fits in but cannot be attached, then this is rather M22. If the 1/2 is too small for it, then you will have M24her note, all valves, without exception, were turned on and checked for functionality, so it is possible to find a drop of water inside.
