The Spear & Jackson Square Mouth Micro Shovel has an overall length of 700mm (27.5″) making it ideal for use where space is restricted, either above or below ground level. The treaded square mouth blade measures 210mm x 160mm (8.25″ x 6.25″) and is made from pressed carbon steel, and has a clear polyester powder coat varnish which helps protect the blade from rusting. The shaft is made from fiberglass which is stronger than wood to provide additional strength, and is topped with an ergonomic hilt with a soft feel grip for comfortable usage. In addition, the small size of the shovel in conjunction with it’s strength and square mouthed blade make this an ideal addition to your car boot or van during winter.
